I have chills knowing that in just a month on September 9th the entire world can finally hear LEGEND. I couldn’t be more grateful and lucky to work so closely with you, @johnlegend . Thank you so much to you and @stiklori for trusting me. You inspire me immensely and this experience A&R-ing this album alongside @wengoldstein and @kenthethird has absolutely been a career highlight for me. I have countless favorite memories, but the ones that really stand out to me are watching you consistently stand up for what’s right and fair and honest throughout the entire process no matter what. It was/is so refreshing to watch you protect your collaborators and art at all costs. Thank you so so much to all the amazing writers, producers, musicians (and their teams), FAW/Republic team, etc. who put their blood, sweat, and tears into this with us.
