Felt good to be in such high glam on television paying tribute to black icons (some names we will never even know) who gave us glamour, grace and beauty. Many of these people weren’t even allowed to come thru the front doors of studios, theaters or establishments they’d work. Many of their works destroyed or lost. Seeing ourselves reflected back in brilliance can change anyone. They for sure have changed me. And I wanted to honor that. Thank you @joshuanapontedesigns for this design and creation to pay homage but to also close my chapter as a contestant on the show that changed my life.
