How to measure the results of a PR campaign I’ve been asked this question a lot – what makes a PR campaign successful? Well, that really depends on YOU! How you measure the results of a PR campaign depends on YOUR objectives. Before you start a PR campaign, you need to set your goals and attach measurable quantities. Examples of measurable objectives are: -more social media followers and/or engagement -number of brand mentions in media coverage -number of overall stories obtained -number of sales or amount of website traffic during a certain period of time -It can also simply be to make connections with key media that you can continue to build a relationship with over time. If that’s the case, make sure you agree on the media outlets or reporters ahead of time. After you analyze the results of your campaign, go back and compare with your original objectives. What kind of goals are you looking to achieve with your next PR campaign? If you’re not sure how to answer this question, consider booking a one-on-one PR strategy session with me and together we can work through your measurable goals.
