Is air travel part of your holiday plans? While flying with a small child can be daunting, ✈️ it helps if you keep them engaged. We love seeing how @Ashley Emery young son plays with 🤩 The Montessori Animal Match game and Transfer Tweezers, Felt Stars, and Felt Basket from The Companion Play Kit while on an airplane! Here are more ways you can make the most of your little one’s travel time: ✈️ A plane is a new environment with exciting features for your child to investigate. 👀 Simply unfolding and refolding the safety pamphlet or opening and closing the window shade may fascinate them. Try letting them stand on your lap to explore buttons overhead. Twist the blower on and off and talk about how the air is blowing on their face or through their hair. Show them how to press the light switch as you narrate “light on, light off.” 💡 ✈️ If they accidentally press the flight attendant call button, use the opportunity to ask for ice and two plastic cups. 🧊 Your child can pour ice from one cup to the other or slide the ice around the tray table. Talk to them about how the ice is cold and how warmth makes it transform into water. Let them use the napkin to wipe up the water. ✈️ Play with the airplane snacks. Line up pretzels on the tray table and count them for your child. 🥨 Hide one in your hand and see if they can guess which hand it’s in. And, if you’re up for it, your child will love feeding you. How do you keep your little one busy during air travel? Let us know in the comments! #Lovevery #ToddlerTravelTips #HolidayTravel #ParentingTips
