✨NEXT LEVEL NAOMI✨ 7 months have passed and it still hasn’t fully registered that I interviewed THEE icon & Supermodel @Naomi for @vmagazine’s May issue (V130 - SUMMER 2021) I’d love to say I was fully prepared for this interview. But when your E.I.C frantically hands you a phone and says “its Naomi—she’s ready now...and she’s boarding a plane to Africa in less than 30 minutes,”...you make it work. And honestly, I wouldn’t have had it any other way. Just being in the moment sparked such a candid discussion on how the landscape of fashion has change since she started. (The interview just so happened to take place two days following the 35th anniversary of her modeling debut). Naomi also gave insight into the work she thinks still needs to be done within fashion—work that she’s making it her mission to advocate for.
