1 year. 3 ships. 20 countries. I’m forever thankful.🤍🛳 All the time people ask me “what got you into this job?” I always smile and say I just applied and was myself in the interview when in all reality... it’s so much more. For a while I was in a very dark place, never feeling enough or always feeling like I was ”too much” I was in a dangerous mindset and I knew I needed to make a change, I needed help. I finally told myself I was gonna make a choice for myself. I took a leap, a pay cut and a chance knowing anything can happen. I applied for Carnival as a new beginning and a fresh start for my life. I have never felt more at home or more myself than I do when I’m on a ship surrounded by crazies just like myself. When I’m on a stage with a microphone it’s like nothing else matters. That’s my getaway. I’m so grateful for the support and adventures I’ve gained from all around the world and those are bonds that I’ll cherish forever. Don’t get me wrong. I’ve shed plenty of blood sweat and tears this past year but it’s all been worth it every step of the way. Thank you Carnival and thank you to my Carnival family.
