I’ve been struggling with words and emotions for the last two weeks... devastated for the families of the victims, outraged for the community that allows me to represent and practice their traditions, and scared for so many in my chosen family. ⁣ ⁣ We have to do better. No one should have to live in fear, especially of other humans. ⁣ ⁣ From a medical standpoint, too often minority groups are dismissed.
