Triangle Relation (2022) 30 x 35 x 5 cm Sapele, aluminium square bar a recent experimental piece from Relation Series (2022) that i was lucky to have some technical supports from Elliot Fox ( @elliot_fox ) in the past few weeks to explore Aluminum Square Bar. using a new material is like meeting a stranger - it requires more discussions & awareness - i think it's a good learning curve for me to take on further, and i’m excited to create more notions between Aluminium & Sapele 🍀 this piece will be part of the group show ‘Testing Grounds’ at Filet ( @filet_space ), PV Thu 25th August 4 - 8pm 26th - 30th August 10am - 6pm Filet 103 Murray Grove, London N1 7QP Testing Grounds is a modular platform, a shifting ecosystem of ideas. Designed and curated by Rachel Mortlock ( @rachmortlock ), Janek Nixon ( @janeknixon ), India Stanbra ( @indiastanbra ) and myself, this exhibition invites artists to showcase an experiment, or an emerging idea as part of a collaborative structure. Throughout the duration of the exhibition, the structure will evolve, with the potential for sections to be shifted or rearranged, allowing the works to overlap and intertwine.
