International Ballet’s “The Nutcracker”... how to even explain the impact this production with this company has had on my life. This show has brightened and provided such beautiful purpose to every winter of my life for over a decade. As I look through these pictures, it’s crazy to see how much we’ve grown up and changed, but it’s even crazier to see how we haven’t changed at all. We’re all still those same little girls just excited to give this performance to thousands of people every year.“The Nutcracker” has defined so many seasons of my life, connecting them all and teaching me the joys of performing in this art that I am now blessed enough to dedicate my whole life to. Though I cry every time I talk about having to leave this production behind, what a privilege to say I grew up in such a magical world every Christmas. I know “The Nutcracker” will be in my life forever, whether that’s performing with different companies or one day taking my own children to experience this Christmas tradition. This season is so hard to let go, but the magic is so easy to keep. Thank you, @internationalballet, as always...performing was a pleasure❤️
