Last year I hired my first intern @goodskateco 💚 It was a big deal for me because I didn’t feel I was structured enough or had the financial capacity to bring someone on, but everything worked out as it was supposed to and I was proud of myself for taking the leap. It felt really nice to have someone have my back throughout this process that can be isolating at times. Eve helped me with my first toadstool release and photo shoot which was also a moment of pride for me because I made the transition from made-to-order pieces (which I found was not sustainable for my growth and was leading me to feel burnt out) to limited releases and special projects that have allowed me to work with a slower production schedule and be more efficient with my energy and resources 🐛 A few months later, I felt the bittersweet feeling of having her move on to bigger things that aligned with her career and future 🦋 I’m so grateful for her help and to everyone who has helped me grow, and to you that follow me on this journey and support my teeny business. For the future, I’m hoping for ease and flow in my business and to have the opportunity to work with a team, because just a team of two was really nice 💗
