A finger puppet trio sings Bach's harmonization of "In dulci jubilo" BWV 368
I was on a real "In dulci jubilo" kick this past December, comparing and contrasting many versions of this ancient melody, starting with The Swingles version from their delightful 1990 album Spotlight on Bach, and then harmonizations by Hassler, Holst, Pearsall, and this one by Bach, Liszt's piano arrangement from Weihnachtsbaum, and BWV 729. The melody kept popping up here and there, including very unexpectedly at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden's holiday light show: https://photos.app.goo.gl/P2hyLJNSvrsoqSBeA
I have figured just enough about using Audacity to make multi track recordings and I have practically zero skills in video editing, but I was able to make this happen using iMovie. I enjoyed myself and I just might make another one soon, with the hopes that I'll get better at it as I go.
10/10 would recommend singing with finger puppets to add levity and fun to practicing:) Thank you to @joyfully.jill (who is a real puppeteer!) for introducing me to these cuties a few years ago. I have a whole bag, so if you're a singer needing some play in your practice let me know :)
