Meet Langston Hines, a chemical engineering student at @tuskegeeuniversity and soon-to-be #futureshaper. Langston interned with us this summer and is part of the @nsbe and Honeywell's Integrated Pipeline Program. Soon, he'll join UOP, a division of our Performance Materials and Technologies business, focused on using breakthrough chemistry and engineering to create flexible, future-forward and sustainable solutions. 💭 What kinds of projects are you most excited to work on in the next phase of your career? "As an intern, I had a great time working with the Connected Solutions team to improve process tools for engineers, and I’m hoping to bring those same types of innovations to customers all around the world," he said. ⭐ What have you enjoyed most about being involved with the National Society of Black Engineers? "I’ve really enjoyed connecting with so many talented and passionate Black engineers, both students and employees. It has motivated me to keep working hard and give every challenge my best." 💡 What's your advice for aspiring engineers? "Find your passion. Engineering is such a broad field of study with so many opportunities and potential, so take the time to figure out your best fit. Ask a lot of questions and explore different industries and roles to find the one you genuinely enjoy. When you’re passionate about what you’re doing, that is when you will do your best work."
