Posted @withrepost • @theshakeupdallas The Shake Up is proud to be throwing a one night only pop-up event at Ruins to showcase the talent of our LGBTQ+ bar community and to raise funds for the victims and the families of the Club Q shooting. No one should should have to fear for their safety based solely on who they are. No one should hear of yet another violent crime committed against the community they identify with and feel like the whole world is against them and that they are surrounded by hate. Sometimes the negative feelings of the minority overpower the love of the majority. This event is all about reminding every member of our hospitality LGBTQ+ community that they are loved, admired and appreciated. We support them, we mourn with them and we will fight along side them for the right to be who they are every day, no matter where they are. Please join us and our wonderful host @keeping.up.with.jones as we cheer on the many gay, lesbian and queer folks who will take to the stage in some friendly competition on Dec 12th.
