Happy birthday to my babies. They turn 1 tomorrow! How do I explain in words how much joy these two have brought into our lives. We were devastated losing Leah, my heart still has a Leah shaped hole but it expanded to make so much room for these two sweet kiddos. We love them so much! They make us laugh and smile every single day with their crazy antics. Our Kodi boy is so sensitive and just always needs to be doing something. He likes to throw a fit when he wants to be in either don or my lap when we are at our computers. He is so very fast, aims to please and has amazing recall! Our Mara girl might be the most loving dog I’ve ever met. All she wants is for us to pet her. She comes to us with her big paws and bats at us for more love and attention. She has a mind of her own and will do as she pleases. We love that the house is full of muddy paw prints, that we have to cover all the sofas, that we get to wake up to their trumpet sounds (ready to go outside) and that they are ours. @dchamberlin3
