It had been a while since @joannmcpike and I last threw our own party. But this year, a combined birthday party seemed like a good plan. I am immensely grateful to live on an intersection of amazing friends, creative geniuses, resources, and event experience, so that this party could become a success, especially on such short notice. I’d like to extend a special thanks to @totalvinnyvibes for being completely on top of a chaotic ROS, to Rawb and Laura from @lazerpantz for setting the perfect tone for the level of “strange”, to my fellow DJs @miss_sabado @sirramoan @timkosters @chuffingbuffy and @tobieasmusik for their perfect flow. A huge shout out to @bentleymeeker for making sure our sound system was warm, fuzzy, and loud, the entertainers from @theboxnyc who brought their A-game, @telmont for the assist that jump-started the entire saga, @alexandrawynne for the guest list help, @drznightingale for the 11th-hour megaphone, and last but not least, the main dish of the night’s entertainment: everyone who attended in the most mind-blowing attires!
