“The Shrike”. Graphite on 12x18 mixed media paper. The first of a little series I’m working titled “Dark Desires” and exploration of the the most malignant human thoughts translated through the animal world. The shrike is an interesting bird that basically impales it’s prey on a sharp object to eat little by little. Definitely one of natures most sadistic birds.
