We’ve been on a massive rollercoaster of a journey with this show- many of us for just over 3 years. We are bonded for life through the joys, devastation, anxiety, blood, sweat, tears, hope, laughter and love. . We’ve opened the show 3 times from Seattle to Broadway- through a devastating pandemic shutdown, a joyful return and opening, then came the emotional whiplash and pandemic-ptsd of a temporary “hiatus”... and now, we are upon a premature closing of a sadly short-lived return, which comes on May 29th, 2022. . I hope that you take the chance to see our beloved show. It’s easy to think, “Oh, I’ll see whatever the next one [show] is...” and one thing the pandemic has taught me is to not let go of opportunities to experience joy- and this one, my friends, this is a joyful show. . It is a rare opportunity to have the honor and privilege to originate a new musical; and it has been my deep honor to help create a song within this piece that will be on an original Broadway cast recording- a song in which my artistry was welcomed to shape it into what it is today.
