Ahead of Issue No.5 of our print magazine coming out next week, we’re revisiting a story from the last issue, when we stopped by the Clerkenwell, north London, home of Mike Zhang and Jen Long. After buying a warehouse flat near Smithfield Market from The Modern House, Mike and Jen recognised the need for some imaginative experts with unusual ideas. They tasked @emilevearchitects with the works, who reimagined the apartment, celebrating its industrial fabric and creating a sanctuary from the stresses of city life.
