Sovereignty to govern over your own people, to take care of your own people. So when I go to all these different Pueblos, you see the flags flying. Which flag is flying the highest? The US flag. Why should it be flying the highest on our own plot of land? It should be our Nation's flag that's flying higher than the US because they granted us sovereignty. They said, ‘Here, this is yours. Take it. Do whatever it is you want.’ So we started doing things. Opened up gas stations, casinos, golf courses, resorts. And now they come back and say, ‘Hey you owe us some money.’ Wait a minute. Why do we have to pay you money now? You know, I kind of have a little bit of conflict of interest with the government."
