Net zero carbon emissions seems like a tall order, but we are aiming to do just that. We plan to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions across all our operations by 2050. How will we achieve net zero? We’re taking significant steps towards our goals. By 2025 we’re aiming to cut our energy consumption by 15%, and work towards reducing our greenhouse gas emissions by generating electricity, heat or steam in our own operations (instead of buying it from other providers). And – we’re already on track! We’re drawing 100% of our electricity globally from renewable sources. We’ve also almost halved our energy consumption between 2006 and 2020 (from 951 to 537 gigawatt per hour). Want to learn more about what we’re doing to achieve net zero emissions?
