As with most people, I didn’t know what to expect when heading to the playa this year, but once again I was not disappointed. I’m constantly reminded of the love that surrounds this event, and I feel I can safely assume that no event would still take place at such a capacity when it’s not officially supposed to happen, other than Burning Man. They made the decision back in the spring to cancel it, but still gave tips for those heading out. I was lucky to connect with @scott.london the week before who invited me to camp alongside him and a few of his friends, and it was great to feel the sense of community come together instantly. We went out for only three days; this was the first time and hopefully the last, that I cut my time out there short. I even had a couple friends come out for 24 hours. Whatever you could make it for, it was worth it. We’re reminded that the main attractions of the event are the people themselves. We come here for each other. Of course it was great to see some of our favorite art cars and sound systems, and I thank them all for donating so much time and effort to making it, but our fellow burners that we connect with are what make the week truly magical. Thank you everyone who attended. It was as always, a special time. I’ll sprinkle a few photos in this week as I get finished up. Here was a beautiful smokey sunset we were greeted with upon arrival. #burningman #burningman2021
