I made this story last summer in New York with Shandi Alexander for the Joyful Issue. It was a tough time for me because my mother was losing her battle with cancer so I was in fact not feeling very Joyful at all. But this day, I smiled and laughed and made some pictures with all these incredible souls. I met so many beautiful people that day who helped me create this story and it made me feel a little better.
