#MEETEXECMONDAY - today we would like to introduce our bid day queen, new member coordinator and VPII, Sam!🤩🤩🤩 “Hi!! My name is Sam Schilt and I’m honored to serve as Epsilon’s 2024 VP II: New Member Coordinator. As New Member Coordinator I am in charge of new member education, big/little pairings, berry buddy dates, and the most fun of all bid day! I have an AMAZING group of girls that serve as my new member team. They help me make all of our events happen and are so helpful in making an inclusive and supportive environment for all new members. During high school I always found myself looking for leadership positions so going through rush I knew wherever I ended up I wanted to be a leader! When I went through recruitment and walked through the ZTA doors I immediately knew this was the place that was going to help me accomplish my leadership goals and truly push me to continue to grow. I first served as Philanthropy Assistant as a freshman and then went through EC interviews in the Fall of my sophomore year. After interviews I got the call I had gotten VP II and it had completely changed everything for me! I was so intimidated by this big role but it had truly shaped me into a better leader and a better person. I couldn’t be more thankful for all of the opportunities I have received through this position and for all of the forever friendships I have made. My favorite part of this so far has been welcoming home all 192 new members this past fall!! After preparing for them for 9 months it was so surreal to see the future leaders of ZTA run home. I will never forget all of them smiling faces running home on bid day and I will never forget all of the support they have given me making this role so much easier to love. I’m forever thankful for everything I have experienced through ZTA and I will always hold this year in a special place in my heart.
