Katy Dierlam, 1986 Dierlam, 1950-2006, was an actress, sideshow performer, model and artist best known for her roles in several of Charles Ludlam's productions. 'As difficult as the world can be, she's managed to find a place in it as a performer. Two summers ago, Ms. Dierlam, whose credits include "Shadows and Fog" and "Angel Heart," was the Fat Lady at Coney Island's Sideshows by the Seashore. "I needed the work and I was trying to deal with the problem of stigmatism," she said.
