The Back Story Behind This Multi Tweed Design : it’s 2019 @pierre.sonic & Myself Are In China Sourcing Materials & The Mill That Was Developing Wild Textures & Materials Wanted To Meet. I Was Hype Because The JG Brand Is Now Known For These Materials But This Was The Lead Up. The Mills Wouldn’t Sell Me Any Yards Of Any Tweed For Footwear, They Said It Was Impossible, It Frayed Too Much & It Would Be Impossible To Last Correctly + The Cost Was High. The Next Day We Go Back & Purchase The Material To Make Jacket Samples. We Then Go Get Jackets Made Of The Materials Through The Same Suppliers, We Then Take The Jackets Back To The States, And Cut The GF-01 Patterns From The Jackets. We Then Sample The Footwear With The Proper Backing and JG Lasts. We Then Show The Mill It’s Possible. Fast Forward Legit 3 Years Later & We Finally Developed The Multi Tweed For A Full Production. The Frying & The Mutli Colors Throughout Are The Details That Make This Pop. The Details & The Story Make This Release Top 5 Favorites.
