This shark takes a souvenir! I have been observing some pretty cool behavior recently of sharks investigating kelp and other floating debris with their dorsal fin. At first, I thought it was coincidence but I'm seeing time and time again, sharks go up to kelp to rub or drag the kelp with their dorsal fin. Many times after a 3rd or 4th pass they will bite into a big juicy piece of kelp. - I will be releasing a YouTube video of sharks practicing this behavior and eating kelp. I've been wanting to release that video for a while but want to make sure that it's accurate. There's not much out there about this behavior. Especially, why they are eating kelp. Stay tuned.
