9 years ago, I quit my fancy cyber security job, divorced my husband, left my friends & family to start new life on the other side of the world. 8 years ago, I was a dancer, living in tiny apartment in BK with a room small enough for a single bed. I couldn’t leave the states because my visa process got messed up, went completely broke, failed one audition after another and almost believed everyone who told me that by leaving Israel, I was making the biggest mistake of my life. 7 years ago, I got hired as a personal trainer at @equinox 6 years ago, I successfully passed my audition to the Group Fitness department at EQX (This is also when I walked with my friend @revitulidk into a @lululemon store and told her that my picture is going to be on this wall some day😜) 5 years ago, I became a home owner 4 years ago I received my EQX excellence recognition among 10 superstar NYC instructors 3 years (ish) ago was my first day filming for @eqxplus 2 years ago I became a US citizen, I was announced as one of four EQX instructor with the highest attendance in NYC, I was featured in my first article in TIME magazine (and a few more major ones ever since) celebrated my first PR campaign and turned lockdown into a productive time to invest in my certs and community. This is the time I signed my ambassadorship with Lululemon and brought Team Orriors to life. A year (+) ago, I moved to Manhattan, created “The Orriors tour” and got to see most of my community around the states, Israel and UK in person. A year ago I decided to start living my best life, to become a stronger version of Or and to add more dreams to my bucket list. ✨Yesterday, I saw my photo on the wall at the Lululemon BFP store✨ For you, it’s just a photo, but for me - it’s proof that dreams are coming true. This is a reminder of my journey for self searching, and the amazing people I got to meet on the way. 9 years ago- I chose to believe in myself and ignore the people who told me I’ll never make it.
