Happy Thanksgiving from our little family to yours!🦃🍁 As Canadians 🇨🇦, @mr.lighttravelsfaster and I also grew up with the tradition of Thanksgiving, although in Canada, it’s a month and a half earlier towards the beginning of October. But after living in New York for 11 years, I’ve truly come to love the American version.🇺🇸 There’s something special about how the entire country pauses, gathers, and leans into family, gratitude, and celebration. In Canada, plenty of people don’t even do a Thanksgiving dinner; for many, it’s simply a Monday off. Here in the US, Thanksgiving is bigger, more intentional, and beautifully communal. I love the tradition, the energy, and the way New York comes alive around it. 🧡 So with that in mind here are some fun moments from last week’s Pie-giving celebration in Brooklyn with @skrewballwhiskey and @eatatchain .
