a few eyebrows were lost in the making of this look Week 23 of #decadedivaschallenge / Week 1 of #retrorunwaychallenge is Pretty Punk. Thank you to @industrialspackle and @snatch_purrfection for hosting. My usual style is somewhere between casual, classic, and artistic. What I like about punk is that something gets subverted or repurposed, which I like to do with jewelry sometimes. My main inspiration was from a look the fabulous @boundlessbeautyblog did with ringed eyebrows. I finally almost succeeded in blocking my brows, though apparently I need more practice, still. I found an unopened Hairigami that I bought a looong time ago and layered a bracelet as a choker with my grandpa's old bolo tie (which I love to wear). I was very inspired by @industrialspackle when it came to jewelry layering, though I need to find some of my other pieces. I kept the rest of my makeup simple so that it wouldn't compete with the eyebrows. And because I was a bit tired. I wrestled with the blocking for about an hour and a half 😆. I used some Gaultier looks as a reference for hair and makeup. So what do you think? Pretty punk?
