A little about me: 1. I’m 3/4 Ghanaian and 1/4 Bajan. Born and raised in London, currently living in New York and loving it! 2. I work in finance, which is what brought me to New York! 3. My love for design began early, thanks to my mum’s soft furnishings business, through which over the years, I’ve had the chance to visit countless homes and hotel projects! Since soft furnishings are often the final touch in a project, I’ve been able to witness the finished results, which has been so inspiring. 4. When I moved to New York, I decided to test my design skills by redesigning my own home. It’s been a learning process, enabling me to perfect my craft, and I’m loving the journey. 5. My design style leans toward “Organic Modern,” where nature meets contemporary design. Think soothing neutrals, curved lines. I’m also drawn to pops of color and the vibrant patterns often seen in British design, so those influences sometimes make their way into my spaces. 6. Traveling brings me joy. Aside from visiting new places and learning about new cultures, one of my favorite parts of any trip is the hotel experience. I’m a huge fan of boutique hotels, and my wishlist of places to stay is growing faster than I can check them off! 7. I spent 7 years at boarding school in the UK, where we moved rooms every term. This gave me the opportunity to constantly reimagine the way my space looked, and make the most of different layouts. 8. I’m all about skincare—those 15 minutes are my most relaxing part of the day. I’ve never been great at makeup (I got totally lost when contouring entered the chat), so I focus on keeping my skincare routine consistent and hope it does the trick. 9. I’m definitely an extrovert. I love socializing and spending time with friends and loved ones, but I also cherish my alone time. A cozy night in, with a good TV show (fictional crime or detective shows are top of the list). I’m always open to British drama recommendations, by the way! 10. I love hosting and bringing people together. Nothing beats gathering friends around a table with good food and drink. Im probably going to end up with more dinnerware sets than necessary in my forever home. 🌸🌸
