Non binary persons day! A day we should feel celebrated and affirmed in our gender. Living in a binary world is HARD when you don’t fit into a binary. We constantly have to fight to feel seen, respected, and included. I have to come out to everyone I meet or I risk being misgendered. A doubled edged sword because how can I determine if someone is safe right when I meet them? However I choose to be proudly visible about my transmasculine non binary identity because my story matters and is one that should be shared. I share vulnerable parts of my life and transition because I’m humanizing my lived reality as a trans person. I’m grateful for the shared experiences of other trans non binary folks who provided me a community that I felt safe, understood, and free to explore the fluidity of gender. I hope all you non binary folks out there celebrate euphoria today because it’s pretty damn amazing! Remember: when I say I’m a transmasculine nonbinary person that means I’m hot and radical. 🏳️‍⚧️✨
