Market Monday Update! Just wanted to share some insight on what’s going on with the real estate market. It’s instable and dysfunctional to say the least. On one hand we have homes still seeing dozens of offers & significantly OVER asking. On the other hand we have homes sitting on the market along with some price reductions. It’s hard to understand what’s going on when many industry professionals only share one side. It can be very confusing to see both sides of what’s happening. Let’s talk about it. I believe we will continue to see the instability until the tax laws catch up with inflation. Selling could very much cost you (in taxes alone) if not done right. And despite many homes going over asking in this market, it’s possible to get a “deal”aka not overpay.
