Personal boundaries are all around us. In the last 4 years of my work I had multiple situations when people were trying to violate them. Many artists will understand me. Bridesmaids/bridal guests come up and take your tools/makeup without asking. Or “ Can you just do my lips/I need just foundation/ can I use your iron/hairspray” I personally have a requirement about the trials. I do trials with a bride one in one only with no friends or relatives involved. The reason I do that, because I had multiple times people were violating my boundaries such as telling me what I should do, distracting me. Also, multiple people have different opinions, which can mislead the bride from what she really want. Those are my boundaries🙌🏻 that’s how I feel myself comfortable. Also , had a bride recently who didn’t proceed with a trial cuz she needed her family to be present. And I knew that’s not gonna work for me and I’m not gonna work in piece.
