Packing to leave the USA with so many feels. Thank you to everyone that has booked Tama Sumo and i on this tour and everyone that has come out to support us In San Francisco , Los Angeles , Washington Dc. Grateful to have had the opportunity to close out the tour at the @honchopgh campout. One of the most moving events I have ever had the opportunity to be a part of and I have been around the block a few times. Never have I felt such a deep sense of belonging & Peace in an event as I did this past weekend. To experience such freedom and to see so much body positivity and people being able to express themselves in this way without judgement is something I will never forget for the longest of times. nothing felt forced or performative. it was only love vibrating throughout the site. not once did we see someone behaving untoward to anyone throughout the weekend. We connected with so many people and had so many empowering conversations. There were plenty of opportunities to let go and dance and also to relax and do yoga, swim, and so much more. The organization was meticulous. everything felt so on point. Feeling so grateful & inspired and so thankful. We can never thank the Honcho crew enough for the level of work and heart they put into what this and the work they have put in over the yrs to get us to this point . You are truly healing hearts and this weekend showed us that another world is possible. thank you to everyone who got stuck in and helped in every form or shape to help create this magic. I honestly did not want to leave. We shed a tear whilst playing and shed a tear whilst leaving the site. Thank you everyone for welcoming us into your country and always making us feel like we belong and are a part of the community. Thank you so very much as well for all the great work being done by Queer Fam fund. thanks as well to Honcho for letting us do an extended set so that we could start slow and then slowly build up. It felt great to play from across the board from Roy Ayers to Dj Rush & back again. And a shout to the fab @queen.maxi.pad for taking us to church with that fierce performance as well .
