I made ✨Tteokbokki✨ which is my favorite Korean comfort dish and it’s super easy to make! Tteokbokki is so rich and savory and you could put any ingredients that you want. What are your must have sides in Tteokbokki? Also, this is my first time doing a cooking style video, let me know if you guys like this style of content! Instructions ⏲️: 1. Take a bowl of warm water and add your rice cakes into the bowl, this allows the rice cakes to become softer. 2. Grab some green onions (I used about three stalks) and slice them up into pieces. 3. Take about two tablespoons spoons of oil (avocado or olive oil) and put it into the pan. Grab your green onions and dump it into the pan. Make sure to stir the onions around for about 3 mins. Just until the onions are soft. 4. Add about 2 1/2 cups of water into the pan and put 2 tablespoons of sugar (I used coconut sugar), 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 3 tablespoons of gochugaru, 2 1/2 tablespoons of gochujang, and a dash of dashi powder into the pan. (Make sure to mix well) 5. Allow the sauce to boil and once boiled add in your rice cakes and your favorite fish cakes (I used Wang Korean fish cakes, literally the best!) and stir them around, allowing the sauce to coat them. 6. Allow the sauce to thicken up and once thick add in some cheese and a runny egg and there you have it!! • • • • • #trending #cooking #koreanfood #recipe #tteokbokki #letsgetcooking #wangkoreanfishballs #easyrecipe #cookingvideo #ricecake #koreanricecake #recipevideo #musttry #surasang
