I don’t even know how to explain how much I love being Nino’s mom, how much I appreciate his grandmas (my Mami, and Mike’s mom), and just how special this ride as a mother has been thus far. I recently started to read @davestruestories book and one thing that is constant in his story is his relationship with his mom. I read his words describing his mom/best friend and it lights me up with joy and fills me up with love and tears. He closes out the first chapter with the final words he wrote for his own mother’s book, and they are truly the sweetest most beautiful words. “ But, beyond any biological information, there is love. Something that defies all science and reason. And that I am most fortunate to have been given. It’s maybe the most defining factor in anyone’s life. Surely an artist’s greatest muse. And there is no love like a mother’s love. It is life’s greatest song. We are all indebted to the women who have given us life. For without them, there would be no music.” 🥲🥲🥲💕💕💕 HAPPY MOTHERS DAY 💫
