Poor rains last year brought Tsavo to the brink of a drought; failed rains earlier this year sealed its fate. Resident wildlife are hanging on as best they can. This isn’t the first time they have faced difficult times, nor will it be the last. During this period of want, it is elephants who struggle the most.
