Geomagnetic Splendour // The Aurora forecast was looking very promising last Friday evening as our @chimuadventures chartered @qantas 787 Dreamliner departed from Brisbane. The Aurora Australis spectacle commenced a few hours later, not long after 10pm. Dancing swirls of green clearly visible out the windows, with the camera showing vibrant reds and purples too. The show lasted for hours, filling the skies above the Southern Ocean with light and fantastic shapes. Not much sleep was had!
