All of us at Classic Driver, and every car enthusiast around the world has been shocked and saddened by the news of Ken Block’s passing. Whether you’d worn some of his DC Shoes back in the late 1990s (we certainly did), or you gathered around a screen, utterly jaw-dropped at his Gymkhana films, Ken’s ability to never let off the gas in whatever he chose to do is an inspiration to us all. Conquering some of the world’s toughest rally stages, Pikes Peak climbs and even blasting up the Goodwood Estate driveway, Ken made the world his playground, and his infectious laugh and relentless passion for all things four-wheeled will be missed by millions all over the world.
