Cheers to 2 months post ACL surgery!! This is definitely not how I ever planned I was going to start my soccer career at Illinois state but I always think that everything happens for a reason. There have already been so many ups and downs in my soccer journey and this is just one of those! This is a chance to learn and grow even more as a player and person:) Learning to take on different roles and embracing the uncomfortable. I’m excited to share as much as I can of my journey to getting back on the field so that other athletes can see that even though this is a very mentally and physically tough journey it’s possible to come back even stronger!!!
