•đź’• And who are you doing these things for? What are you doing these things for? The more you carve out time and dedicate your energy to what empowers you, the more fulfilled you are going to feel and the more replenished you are going to wake up. Evaluate and assess what that is. That doesn’t mean you’ll be perfect or always on top of it or always feel great. You’ll make mistakes, somedays you’ll wake up and want to give up, but it’s the baby steps. The more fulfilled you feel from those things, the less you are going to go out seeking to fill that internal void with brief/fleeting external satisfaction - which usually drains you over time and keeps you feeling empty.
The thing is - it’s hard. Consistency and actively choosing to do what’s best for you and not what’s easiest or what’s to please others - is hard. It can be overwhelming, but it’s doing ONE thing. And I don’t know if it ever gets easier, but it becomes worth it. Starting small and staying with it continue to create that fulfillment. Not a quick fix, not everything all at once, just the incremental build. Being honest with yourself and using that guide. Asking the questions, making slow changes, making mistakes, getting setback but then hopping right back on. The more you notice how positively it impacts you and changes your mood and changes how you wake up, and the impact it has on those around you, the more encouraged you’ll be to stick with it and the possibilities are endless.
