Ever since I saw my first AR effect a few years ago, there have been these little “nudges” of opportunities to push me along in a direction that has landed me at this spot.👆 Yesterday, I picked up my work badge at Meta HQ, where I was warmly met by teammates and we took the day to tour the campus, including the Instagram offices. 🤯 We debriefed about my week, where I shared how I connected with fellow AR/XR Creators at Augmented World Expo (@awe.xr) - some who I haven’t seen in two years. Others, I met for the first time irl and it just strengthened connections we had already made online. I found myself repeating the same thing over and over: what an incredible gift it is to do what I love, with people who have become like family, where we lift each other up - and as a very cool side effect - we get paid to do what we are passionate about.
