I had no idea when @gq asked me to shoot @piercebrosnanofficial and his two sons @paris.brosnan and @dylan_brosnan that I would have one of the more memorable shoots of my career. We shot Pierce at his home on the beach in Malibu. Perhaps that played a role; we were invited into a personal and intimate space where the family felt comfortable letting down potential guards. And it just might have been the chemistry; it was fun, vibes were good, and @simonrasmussen brought the most major looks. Pierce and his sons have an effortless connection. They are loving, playful, and encouraging. Simon put them in all-white looks for our first shot on the beach. I love working with Simon. He thinks like a creative director; it’s big picture for him, not just clothing but attention to what is being created and why. The image we made reminded me of any album package of an early 2000s boy band. With a little push and a lot of my good energy, we all ended up in the ocean, where everyone was sopping wet. @louisvuitton @brioni_official @giorgiaoarmani @tomford @ralphlauren That experience set the tone for the day.
