Today I finally had the time to reflect on this past NYFW and even beyond into the past few years of my life. I can get so caught up in the desire to constantly search for what’s next in my career, that I rarely take time to reflect on how this all was once a very very wild, whimsical dream. The rejections models receive followed by very booked weeks are a rollercoaster ride that you kind of never get off of, especially as a disabled model. But today, I just want to hold my younger self’s hand. I want to hold her hand and tell her that nothing is impossible and that the future is so strange and beautiful.
