2025 BEST OF SKINCARE: Some takeaways/reflections— - I want to try more antioxidant/vitamin c serums in 2026. I stayed consistent this year because I really wanted to get my rosacea under control, and I did just that! I had only 1-2 flares the entire year. - I want to try more Asian chemical SPF’s in 2026. I didn’t venture out so much in the spf department, because I just love the LRP so much and the tar*ff situation. - This was the year of the moisturizer. I feel like so many of my mid to heavy weight moisturizer favorites (acne/sensitive skin friendly) all came out in 2025. I still wish they all were in a tube with a flip cap, though! - Mandelic acid was my hero exfoliation ingredient!! - I reintroduced Tazorac (an RX retinoid) in September after 8 months off, and my skin was a mess for four months readjusting— but I’m on the other side! I am never not using it again, I realized how oily and congestion prone I naturally am. My skin is so much softer, smoother (and drier) on Taz. - So many new, and new to me body care favorites but my body wash favorites stayed the same! It’s so interesting how my skin and skincare shift year to year, and fun to reflect on! How did your routine or skin change in 2025?
