Happy Winter Solstice - Solstice ‘s always tend to bring an awareness to light and dark. Both play there part in this life, but how do we play within this duality, with ease. It’s perception for me. Darkness brings the stillness the reflective nature of inner observation . The light, well we mostly are drawn to this or try . Winter solstice, it becomes the longest night darkness , a time to retreat,to rest ,reflect, create warmth . With a gentle Smile brings this immediate present feeling of “ being in the moment”. Connection for me. A warmth, a deeper connection. Also knowing to reach out to those who may need this comfort or need to share listen or just a moment to connect. This stillness,this retreat in the shadow creates inner knowing ,intuition . The Summer Solstice the longest day, joy, laughter, frivolous adventure , playfulness outward expression ‘s . But regardless of the solstice this is a beautiful time to observe that light and darkness that play within our life moment to moment.
