Anthony “Aj Crimson” Jackson. My big brother and best friend. The past 10 or so days have been agony. You are so much more than a social media post, or story . But I’m posting this , not to show people I knew you . But to rather show those who follow me, that may not have had the pleasure of knowing you , that to have been graced with your presence was a blessing and you were an angel on Earth and one of the greatest humans. It’s painful that I can’t call you. Whether it be to just hear your infectious distinct laugh, or one of your favorite “AJ-isms” with that voice and tone that is unmistakable and undeniably yours; or for your wisdom filled guidance , especially with my career path , that YOU encouraged me to be in and nurtured my dreams every step of the way . I will have to settle with speaking to you in my prayers and dreams. With your sudden passing , you are a reminder that i need to be better at Loving and hugging on my people while they are here. Make and spend time for the loved ones that i have here, laugh until my sides hurt. Don’t sweat the small things or insignificant negative energy that may Try to infiltrate peace. AJ truly lived his life to fullest. He led by example , inspiring me to dream even bigger than what my biggest dreams are. All of the flowers, calls , texts, messages, have not gone unnoticed or or unappreciated . And I apologize for not responding at all . Every time my phone would go off , i knew it was about AJ. And it was like a sharp pain reminding that what happened was true and a reality. But i know you AJ. You want to me to keep going and living the life because you always saw more in me than me. He posted this post above a week before he left. It touched my heart then and means even more and holds more weight nowthan ever. And i know you left here proud of me and I only pray that can continue doing just that . I Love YOU AJ. Forever and ever and the legacy that you leave behind is immeasurable . Enjoy the slide of just some cherished moments with him. Seriously love on your people and when you think of them, call them! It’s for a reason. Life isn’t guaranteed y’all. Live it. God bless, E.
