Remodel Series: Our Stair Railing I get asked about our railings a ton, so wanted to provide the design details here for anyone to save if they are considering a similar project! We worked with a steel architect (yep.. that’s a thing!), since we had a curved handrail that took a bit more fabricating. The rails themselves are round, 1/2” wide, and the handrail is 2” wide. It was all installed onsite, then painted afterwards in Tricorn Black by @sherwinwilliams in a satin finish.
