Some people see women as animals. Poor laying hens that only exist and have value when they have children. They shouldn't have the choice: they just need to lay children. They deny them the right to dispose of their bodies as they wish. They hate on women who do not wish to have children. They complicate access to permanent sterilization for those who wish it, and in many countries deny her the right to an abortion regardless of the circumstances in which she contracted the pregnancy (in my country abortion is possible only in cases of rape or when the pregnancy puts the life of the mother in danger). I never understood why it was so hard to apply our personal beliefs to our lives alone. Why do humans feel compelled to impose their ways of seeing life on others? Are you against abortion? Don't abort. It's simple. And maybe the pro life movement should be called pro fetus. Because the life of the mother does not count. The lives of children already born do not count. Women fight body and soul to be able to dispose of their bodies as they wish, but the victories are never final because some fight even harder to make them lose what they have acquired. This constant fight, these ephemeral victory and defeat can be so tiring. Im thinking about all the women around the world who are affected by pro fetus laws.
