Parts & labor pricing is devaluing the work that we do behind the chair 😱
I said what I said 🤷🏽♀️
Our services are more than a formula of labor and parts.
It took me 20 years to perfect doing my services with the amount and time I have alloted, so how much do I charge for that?
If you want to be part of that business, this post is not for you.
For the rest of us, we are providing an experience and a finished look.
Yes you need to know the cost of product and timing for each service but that's not all that goes into it and it doesn't need to be marketed that way to your clients.
Transparent pricing only means that your clients are prepared for the cost of their service, they don't need an itemized bill and to know that you are providing adequate VALUE behind the price.
If we were giving them an itemized bill why stop at product?
Why wouldn't you list your:
Rent
Tools
Education
Clothing shoes
Retirement
Time off
Professional services
And the list goes on
I provide education on my page to elevate the industry and for me, this is a step in the wrong direction.
